The competitionwas held in Zhoushan, Zhejiang from June 25th to 28th, the theme of which was 'cultivating marine craftsmen and strengthening Chinese transportation.' There were 486 competitors of 43 teams from 13 national and regional shipping enterprises as well as 30 maritime colleges, noticeably including five teams organized by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan seafarer unions. Both seafarer association and international labor union in Singapore, a country along the Belt and Road, sent staff to watch the competition. 同题参见
It was reported that China Seafarer Skills Competition was a national-level competition organized by Maritime Safety Administration of Ministry of Transport and National Committee of the Chinese Seamen & Construction Workers’ Union.
