At present, the calligraphy major of QNU is the only in the undergraduate education in Fujian province. Teachers and students have won more than 50 awards in professional exhibitions and competitions, including Exhibitions of China Calligraphy Lanting Awards, National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition of Young and Middle-aged Artists, National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, National Calligraphy Exhibition of College Students.
