Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the 2020 list of majors that have passed the certification for teacher- orientated majors. Two majors of QNU, English and Musicology, have successfully passed the second-level certification. According to the Ministry of Education’s Implementation Measures of the Certification of Teacher Education Majors in General Colleges and Universities(Interim), majors certified as second-level can organize their own the interviews of the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers. In recent years, QNU attaches great importance to the certification work, and thoroughly implements the “student-centered, outcome-oriented and continuously improving” concept and focuses on the overall improvement of talent cultivation. Multiple meetings dedicated to the promotion of certification work have been held to further strengthen the construction of majors and disciplines, and promote the reform of talent cultivation mode. All these have proved to be fruitful, laying a solid foundation for Primary Education, English and Musicology to pass the certification. 同题参见
