Prof. Zhuo has been consentrated on the research for years mainly on the utilization of 3D printing photosensitive resin, graphene heavy-duty anticorrosive coating, high-performance adhesive and solar energy. He has conducted 22 research projects, inluding 1 ranked in National Natural Sciences Fund , 2 provincial, 2 municipal-level ones to development projects commissioned by enterprises like CALT and ANTA. He has published 34 academic papers in SCI indexed journals like J. Mater. Chem. A, applied for 57 patents (23 approved). Three of their invented technologies have been licensed to companies for industrial applications with economic returns worth over 100 million and profits in tens of millions. In 2016, he won China's Excellent Patent Award (ranking second), and in 2020, he received the Second Class Prize of Fujian Scientific and Technological Progress Awards (ranking first). As a prominent scholar, Prof. Zhuo has such titles as head of Fujian College Technology & Innovation Team, Fujian College “New Century” Excellent Talent, head of Quanzhou “Harbor Plan”Talent Team, and Quanzhou “Tongjiang” specially recruited expert. 同题参见
