The first National Teaching Innovation Contest for College Teachers was held at Fudan University from July 27 to 30, with 199 participating teams from 31 regions. Chen entered the national final with “Singing of Nanyin Music”, a core program for Nanyin undergraduates, and presented her innovative teaching design with a topic of “Inheriting the essence of Nanyin Music and passing it to the young.” Adhering to the tenet of “fostering virtue through education” and under the guidance of “New Liberal Arts” and “Ideological and Political Education” reforms, she carried out a series of reforms addressing problems of the traditional teaching methods in Nanyin singing. Her innovation on integrating “the most ancient music” with “the latest teaching concept” has won the unanimous affirmation and high praises from the jury of the contest. 同题参见
The Education Department of Fujian Province has attached great importance to the National Teaching Innovation Contest this year. Sponsored by the Education Department of Fujian and organized by QNU, the provincial final of this contest had received 149 entries from 39 universities. 77 teams had been shortlisted in the final competition, 6 of them being selected to represent Fujian in the national finals. The brilliant results of two first prizes, one second prize and three third prizes rank near the top of the list with a winning rate of first prize 18.3% higher than the national average. 对照阅读
