Ke Ruiqing and Qu Guangqing introduced QNU’s main achievements and its role in serving the economic and social development of Quanzhou, and sincerely thanked all Quanzhou people at home and abroad for their great support to the development of the university. He said the university would continue staying firmly rooted in and well serving Quanzhou, continue to seek support through service and development through contribution, speed up promoting the educational level and educational quality, strive to build a distinctive first-class applied university, and better serve the construction of new Fujian and Quanzhou --- a famous city on the Maritime Silk Road in the 21st century.
